Ingredients
Instructions
- Remove the pork belly from the fridge and pat it dry.
- Place it in a bowl and rub with the oil until lightly coated.
- Sprinkle over the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
- Turn the pork so the seasoning covers all sides.
- Arrange the pieces in the air fryer basket with space between them.
- Cook at 180°C / 355°F for 15 minutes.
- Turn the pork pieces and increase the temperature to 200°C / 390°F.
- Cook for another 10–15 minutes, until the meat is juicy and the edges are crisp.
- Rest for a few minutes before serving.
Typical mistakes
- Cooking straight from the fridge — the meat cooks unevenly.
- Overcrowding the basket — fat renders better with airflow.
- Skipping the rest — pork belly stays juicier after a short pause.
