Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Remove the pork belly from the fridge and pat it dry.
  2. Place it in a bowl and rub with the oil until lightly coated.
  3. Sprinkle over the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  4. Turn the pork so the seasoning covers all sides.
  5. Arrange the pieces in the air fryer basket with space between them.
  6. Cook at 180°C / 355°F for 15 minutes.
  7. Turn the pork pieces and increase the temperature to 200°C / 390°F.
  8. Cook for another 10–15 minutes, until the meat is juicy and the edges are crisp.
  9. Rest for a few minutes before serving.

Typical mistakes

  • Cooking straight from the fridge — the meat cooks unevenly.
  • Overcrowding the basket — fat renders better with airflow.
  • Skipping the rest — pork belly stays juicier after a short pause.
