Creamy garlic parmesan sauce, tender slow cooker chicken, perfectly coated pasta… basically comfort food heaven with almost no effort. Just throw everything into the crock pot, let it cook, add pasta, and suddenly everyone wants seconds.

You only need about 10 minutes of prep time for this recipe, then the crock pot does the rest. It cooks for around 6–7 hours on LOW or 3–4 hours on HIGH, and the recipe makes about 6 cozy servings — perfect for family dinner or leftovers the next day.

Ingredients
- 2 large chicken breasts (600-700g)
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 bottle garlic parmesan sauce (about 12 oz)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded parmesan cheese
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini work best)
- Fresh parsley
Optional:

Instructions
- Add the chicken breasts to the crock pot, then pour in the chicken broth, heavy cream, and garlic parmesan sauce. Add the minced garlic, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Place the cream cheese on top — don’t worry if it looks chunky at first, it’ll melt into the sauce while cooking.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender enough to easily shred with a fork. Cooking low and slow gives the chicken the best texture and helps the sauce develop a richer flavor.
- Remove the chicken from the crock pot and shred it using two forks. If the sauce looks separated at first, give it a really good stir — once the cream cheese fully mixes in, it becomes smooth and creamy. Return the shredded chicken back into the sauce.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Slightly firmer pasta works best here because it continues soaking up some of the sauce after being added to the crock pot. Drain well.
- Add the cooked pasta into the crock pot along with the shredded parmesan cheese. Stir everything together until the parmesan melts completely and the pasta is fully coated in the creamy garlic parmesan sauce. If the sauce feels too thick, add a splash of warm broth or milk until it reaches the texture you like.
- Let everything sit for about 5 minutes before serving so the sauce thickens slightly and clings to the pasta better. Top with fresh parsley, extra parmesan, crispy bacon, or red pepper flakes if you want a little extra flavor and texture.
